T_Brunhilde: Most people can't distinguish between what they want and what they need.
TerriGHGIT: so I gave it a push
TerriGHGIT: My thing is, I did the spell for another job.
TerriGHGIT: I got interviews offers coming like crazy...
T_Brunhilde: Great!
TerriGHGIT: Of course, this was when I was getting ready for vacation. I was like, gotta work on that timing..
TerriGHGIT: I thought one or two interviews, but not so.
T_Brunhilde: Well, at least it worked. That's excellent.
TerriGHGIT: So, how do you know when you need to do prosperity?
TerriGHGIT: I mean, sometimes you aren't ready to do what is necessary to get there.

TerriGHGIT: I was trying to buy a car and the air in Mom's car went out after I'd paid $800

T-Debbora: I LOVE what I do - Just not making as much as I'd like.

TerriGHGIT: But it was done right this time. I gave Mom $700 on fixing that.

T-Debbora: So how do we work a money spell?
T_Brunhilde: Well there are several. My favorite evolves a green candle and some mint leaves.
T_Brunhilde: Hello, Kay.

T_Brunhilde: First figure out how much you need. REALLY need, not just want.

T_Brunhilde: And you should do this spell on a waxing moon. Which we have now.
T_Brunhilde: The moon goes FULL on Saturday. After that the spell is not as potent.
T_Brunhilde: Find a quiet space. Lay out your green candle and your mint leaves.
T_Brunhilde: Light the green candle. Stand before it, close your eyes.
T_Brunhilde: Visualize the amount of money you need. Imagine the number. See it in your mind.
T_Brunhilde: Call out to Spirit or your deity to hear your prayer.
T_Brunhilde: Because that what spell work is, concentrated, focused prayer.
T_Brunhilde: When you are ready, blow out the candle and rub your hands in the candle smoke.
T_Brunhilde: Stae alound the amount of money that you need three times.
T_Brunhilde: Thank your deity for their help. Recite aloud:
T_Brunhilde: "For the greater good and with harm to none, this is my will, so mote it be done."
T_Brunhilde: Take the mint leaves, put them in your wallet, pressed between dollar bills.
TerriGHGIT: Nice
T_Brunhilde: Every time you see them, rub them against your money, as a reminder of your spell.
T_Brunhilde: And just as important: DO NOT SPEAK OF YOUR SPELL WORK TO OTHERS.
TerriGHGIT: I didn't do the mint leaves. I just burned a little of the candle every night
T_Brunhilde: it diminishes the power of the magick.
TerriGHGIT: Till it was gone.
TerriGHGIT: I never really talk about what I do spell wise until long after it is done.
T-Debbora: So what can you use if you don't have mint leaves?
T_Brunhilde: And don't repeat the spell for a few weeks, wait until the next waxing moon.
T_Brunhilde: I've never used anything else but that.

TerriGHGIT: I just used the candle. I probably did some offering incense too.
T_Brunhilde: If that worked for you, then go with that.
T-Debbora: I might have some ground - might be messy in the wallet!
T_Brunhilde: LOL!
TerriGHGIT: Every situation is different.
TerriGHGIT: I just think of what I want to accomplish and I just know what I need.
T-Debbora: I have peppermint oil!
T_Brunhilde: Debbora, try to borrow some mint leaves from a friend.
T-Debbora: How about dousing a couple of one's with that!
T_Brunhilde: I don't know that you should put oil in your wallet.
TerriGHGIT: Let me look in my book and see if there is a substitute for mint
T-Debbora: A drop or two on the bills - wouldn't hurt
T_Brunhilde: At least they would smell nice.
T-Debbora: Might make me hungry every time I spend money! LOL
T_Brunhilde: Also important, once you have worked the spell--quit thinking about it.
TerriGHGIT: It says in my book you can sub sage for mint

T_Brunhilde: I've never used sage, but heh, if it works for you, GREAT.
TerriGHGIT: I looked in Cunningham's book and it gives substitutions
T_Brunhilde: Maybe you will be rich AND wise. LOL!
TerriGHGIT: A good fringe benefit. LOL
T_Brunhilde: Cunningham also emphasizes the idea of "leave your spell alone."
T_Brunhilde: I think modern books don't discuss that enough.
TerriGHGIT: Leave it alone?
TerriGHGIT: Like don't redo it over and over?
T_Brunhilde: yes, once you send out the thought-form let it alone to take shape.
T_Brunhilde: Quit endlessly messing with it, impacting it repeatedly.

TerriGHGIT: I don't redo it, but I will light a candle to kind of keep it working, for lack of a better word.
T-Debbora: In other words get your dollar amount right the first time.
T_Brunhilde: The only spells i keep reinforcing are prayers for health.
TerriGHGIT: I don't do any more magic to add to it, just kind of keep the thought going.
TerriGHGIT: Those are mostly what I do. I rarely ask for money or things.
T_Brunhilde: Well, every time you think about it, just say "thanks." That is wonderful.
TerriGHGIT: I'm not rich but I have food, Mama, friends, job and shelter.
T_Brunhilde: What some folks do is continuously fret about the situation, which weakens the spell.
T_Brunhilde: Well, then you ARE rich.
T_Brunhilde: You are blessed.
TerriGHGIT: Yes
T-Debbora: It does more that it draw bad vibes to you.
TerriGHGIT: I don't really worry about my spells because I have always seen them work.
T_Brunhilde: And you have those big cats. LOL!
TerriGHGIT: I'm pretty confident things will work out when I do one.
TerriGHGIT: Yes, my big boy cat. My girl is kind of small.
T_Brunhilde: Well , you sound pretty adept at them.

T_Brunhilde: I recommend Cunningham for beginners. he is reputable and trustworthy.

T_Brunhilde: And remember, magick is just a practice. It is an outgrowth of natural spiritualism.
