Psychic School House welcomes you to the first issue of The Psychic School House Learning Times. We are most appreciative that you have taken this opportunity to devote your time to a deeper understanding of psychic and intuitive subjects. Every thing you find in this newsletter and on the Psychic School House site is all about YOU. It's about understanding how psychic and intuitive gifts work in your own body and in the world around you. It's about understanding how and why things work the way the do in your life and what you can do to draw more positive and life giving manifestations into your life.

We live in very exciting times. Never before has there been so much psychic and intuitive information available to the general public. In decades past, much of the information about who and what we are, and how we work as enlightened energy beings was forbidden and distorted to the general public and reserved for use by a select few.

In the last 50 years, there has been a grand awakening of psychic and intuitive information on a global scale. A record number of children are being born today with extraordinary psychic and intuitive talents. Psychic and intuitive people are now acknowledging their talents, using them daily and are moving into the work force.

Because of television and radio and Internet, the general public is now coming to understand that psychic and intuitive talents are very valuable in all walks of life. We get a glance at the workings of these intuitive talents as we watch programs like; The Medium, Psychic Detective, Ghost Hunters and other such programs. Also, never before has it been so easy to chat with someone with real psychic or intuitive talent as it is in this time.

Because Source Energy is moving at such a rapid rate, we see manifestations of this energy all around us. Over the course of 35 years of studying many religions, metaphysics and paranormal developments, I developed a way of simplifying and explaining the "how" and "why" of what we sense what we sense. Have you ever noticed those people that seem to live a "charmed" life? You know the one's I'm talking about. They are ones that get the best promotions at work, they always win the praise of their superiors, they win the office lottery most often, they win Christmas prizes more often and they always seem to have lots of love, money and happiness. Great things seem to flow to them endlessly.

Many of us have observed these people in everyday life. Most us look on these people with more than a little envy and silently wish they would STOP doing that! Some of us just watch in amazement and wonder HOW do they do that? So how DO these charmed people get so lucky?

Over the last few months, I have been working my way through many DVD's and CD's on The Art of Deliberate Creation by Esther and Jerry Hicks as they channel a nonphysical group of entities called Abraham. Now the art of deliberate creation is not as easy as one might think for there are a lot of things to consider and pull together. As I was working my way through these CD's I began testing this method and that to see which would work was best for me. The thing I found works best and materializes happenings the fastest is something that Abraham calls, "segment planning."

So what is a "segment?" A segment is a slice of your time where an activity is "segmented" off from other activities. For example, the drive to work is a segment, work until lunch is a segment, lunch is a segment, work from lunch to quitting time is a segment, the drive home is a segment, your kid's ball game is a segment and so on. So a "segment" is any time span where you are doing a specific task or activity.

What is Segment Planning? Segment Planning is lining yourself up vibrationally for best possible outcome for the time segment just before you. So how do you do that? Well, we all know what a "Day Planner" is and for most of us this just doesn't work for most people. The reason they don't work, for many people, is that we tend to put too many items to do on our planner. If you plan your day too closely, one odd thing will through a monkey wrench into your schedule and the rest of the day will fall into chaos. With that chaos, "bad outcomes" may come in that wake of one odd thingy and that is something you don't want to happen to your day. So how do you avoid that? You avoid that by using segment planning sessions.

Briefly plan the highlights of your day before you get out of bed in the morning or while you are doing your morning routine like getting a shower or brushing your teeth. Run through what you have planned for that day. For each part, envision the best possible outcome for each activity.

Just planning what you plan to DO is NOT ENOUGH! You must also plan how the work or day will go and envision in "best possible scenario" in every activity. By planning your day with the best possible outcome — you are, in fact, lining your self up vibrationally to receive just that. So you are not only planning what you will do — VERY BRIEFLY — but you are programming your day to give you're the best possible outcome with each segment.

Just before each activity segment, give that segment a little POWER BOOSTER to reaffirm what your want. For example, you can plan a smooth and enjoyable trip to work or to the grocery store. As you car is warming up to leave, see yourself moving quickly and safely through traffic and see yourself arriving safe and refreshed when you get to your destination.

As you move through each segment of your day, try to stay focused on just that segment and enjoy it as it unfolds. If you are playing "worse case scenario" in your mind as you are moving from one segment to another you will "reprogram" your experience to that worse case course instead of the positive one you previously planned. Better is to play music that makes you happy or mindless or to surround your self with "happy" or "feel good" objects that will lift your heart.

As one segment after another plays out according to your vibrationial planning, give thanks and be grateful. Perhaps at bed time, mentally make a list of all the things you are truly grateful for. Being grateful for the little things. Being grateful will empower abundance in your life and make for smoother running events of each segment of your day.

When I first started Segment Planning, I started with something simple — a task I'm not really fond of doing — getting groceries. On grocery day, I decided to program for a parking spot close to the door and an event free trip into town. On the first grocery day, I got a parking space just 3 back from the store entry and the traffic was light. This was good — I'm not a big fan of walking a half mile into the store over 150 degree parking lot. So this first planning went OK.

On my second week I planned a close parking spot and a speedy trip into town as well. That week as I pulled into the first store parking lot where there were two shopping carts blocking the second, third and forth parking spaces. On a lark, I very lightly tapped the first cart with my car bumper. The cart took off down the parking lot gaining speed. The first cart hit the second cart and both took off down the lot. Afraid I was going to have to run half way across the parking lot to stop them, I just got out of my car and thought, STOP. Almost as if they were listening they slowed down and both carts stopped squarely in the middle of the shopping cart corral.

I felt a huge surge of joy at this accomplishment. As I turned to lock my car, I heard all this hooting and applause coming from behind me. I turned to find the car behind me had slid into the space beside me and they were carrying on about me clearing three parking spaces and getting the carts in the corral at the same time. The man and lady got out of their car laughing and applauding at the wonder of it. I had to wonder if my Segment Planning was part of that.

The third week I decided to add a bit more to my grocery day shopping experience. To my smooth trip and parking space planner, I added that I would have a very delightful shopping experience, and that every thing on my list would be in stock or on sale and I would be rested and refreshed afterwards and the I would get supper out at my favorite restaurant.

At the first store, I got the first parking spot after the handicapped spaces. The vitamins I needed to buy were buy one get one free, and half the paper goods I needed were on sale too and there was no waiting in line. Not too bad! Next, I went to Wal Mart. I got the first parking space after the handicapped spots there too. The door greeter gave me a compliment on how great I looked and how he liked my outfit. (Ah-hum — 2 years old and wrinkled from the seat belt?) Next he gave me big hug and got my cart for me. (I never got a hug before from the door greeter!). I sailed through my shopping, my favorite shampoo that had not been in stock for 4 months — was magically in stock. Product demo ladies stepped out from behind their tables to offer me morsels of goodies and free samples. I met 3 friends in the store who all stop to chat with me happily and I got a hug from each as they went on their way. The store was very, very busy. After everything on my list was in the cart, I was on way to the check outs, a lady weaved her way through a dozen people to give me a free, very thick recipe and inspirational book and a large bundle of coupons. I was delighted.

I got in line behind six other people with loaded carts and settled in for the wait. But the moments after I got in line, a check-out lady came and snagged me, saying there was no waiting on her register. I breezed through the check outs and sailed home. My nephew show up magically to help me carry in groceries — another perk. Then not only did I get to eat at my favorite restaurant, but my hubby took me out to a movie as well. It was the most perfect shopping day I've ever had!

Since that day I have been using segment planning every day and while I still haven't got to the "charmed stage" YET, it's very delightful to have things go very close to perfect in each segment of my day.

Four months ago I lost my cat Shiloh. What happens to pets after they die?

According to metaphysical teachings, animals that have come to live with humans are there by mutual planning. By that I mean, nonphysical animals and nonphysical human planned well in advance to be partners in the physical plane, long before they "meet" in this world. Animals and humans that live together teach each other a great deal. Each is part of a co-partnership that acts as guardians, protectors, teachers, students and co-creators for each other.

When a beloved pet crosses back to the Other Side, they either wait on their partner/owner to cross back to the Other Side, or in some cases they manifest another body and come back to that person in another form.

Sometimes animals can get as complex in their crossings as people and will sometimes "hang around" a while before Crossing Over. Others Cross Over just fine and come back to visit from time to time to check up on you.

How do we know that animals retain who and what they are beyond the physical? For hundreds of years mediums have been contacting — often astonishingly — animals on the other side that are waiting on their master's to Cross Over.

On one program of Crossing Over with medium John Edward, a pair of mules came through from the Other Side for someone in his New York City audience. John was understandably shocked. Who in New York City owned a pair of mules? As it turned out, one lady explained that when she lived in the country she had taken custody of a pair of abused mules and had cared for them until they died naturally. John was shocked, but he gave her the mule's messages of thanks and love.

You see mediums often encounter animals waiting on the Other Side for their masters. Proof positive that animals are like us; nonphysical entities that manifest here in flesh for a little while and then return to the nonphysical.

So rest assured that Shiloh is NOT DEAD, he is still with you and always will be with you.
