Over the last month I have been asked by several students about the state of meditation.  Many ask what is it and why should I bother?  What’s in it for me?

Most people in this country think that meditation is going “zombie” for a few hours a day.  I wondered where people got this perception, until I did some Internet research and much to my amazement the story of Copi Krishna started cropping up over and over in relation to meditation state.

Copi Krishna lived in India from 1903-1984 where it is said that he meditated using the Tantra Kundalini method for three hours a day every day for seventeen years.  Then on Christmas day in 1937 he had a massive awakening were his mind expanded in a place of glowing light and he popped up like a cork and floated on the mass consciences of universe in a state of ecstasy.

The Tantra Kundalini technique of meditation involves flowing energy from the base of the spine upwards through the spine to the higher aura levels of the chakra system and all the way out the top of the head.  It is also called the rise of the snake.  On the good side, if the energy is raised slowly and each chakra level is cleared on the way up then the final effect is wonderful.  However, if they chakra levels are not cleared and the energy is raised too fast it can bite you with headaches as the energy pushes the closed doors in the chakra system.   So this method of meditation is not for everyone.

The famous psychiatrist Carl G. Jung noted that the Tantra Kundalini method of meditation was not seen in the US until after 1970.  Jung noted that many civilizations had found and used this method of meditation all over the world, including in the ancient Egyptians, Tibetans, Chinese, some Native Americans, and the Kung bushmen of Africa. 

Krishna said the state of Tantra Kundalini meditation is one of the “most jealously guarded secrets in history.”  In other words, meditation can be a way to merge with God and universe through the state of meditation.  But it can be so much more.

For most people who read this story Krishna, they are turned off at once as in our time, who has 3 hours a day to devote to meditation for seventeen years?  Most of us have to struggle to get through the day’s work with phones ringing, TV’s and radios blaring, people coming and going and killer schedules of taking kids here and there where we struggle to get the laundry done and the lawn mowed.  Three hours a day is not doable for most people, and most people have no wish to merge with the universe even if they could, so why bother?

The facts show that we don’t have to get to the “universal merge” stage of meditation in order to gain huge benefits from turning our attentions inward by using a little “quiet time” every day.  I like to think of prayer as a quiet state where we ask for things and meditation was a place where we get answers, work toward our goals and solve out problems.  In other words, it’s a two part process; the asking and the answering.  When a question is asked and an answer is given this is a complete communication cycle 

We all ask for things all day long whether we use prayer or not.  Some people only use prayer is a last ditch effort to turn the tide of some critical situation at the last minute.  Then when no answer comes to them instantly, most people say prayer doesn’t work, when in reality they are only completing one half of the communication cycle because most people are not taught to LISTEN for the answers. 

So we can say that meditation is a state of listening, solving problems, getting answers, obtaining higher states of awareness, seeing alternate realities, healing our bodies, getting more access to psychic skills and other’s and obtaining greater use of our psychic skills.  With all these benefits on the line it’s well worth cultivating a way to meditate.  This can be a life altering skill that can turn a life of chaos into a smooth running life.  

The next hurtle is finding the right method of “quiet time” that fits your busy life style.   Over the last thirty five years, there has been many ways developed by creative people in finding paths to access the higher levels of consciousness without pulling three hours a day out of your schedule.   There has also been much progress made in getting more done in the meditation state than ever before AND in a lot less time. 

Drawing and Pressing Dynamic Energy

Before I teach anyone how to meditate, I like to teach how to draw and press energy first.  Mediation is a state of moving within the energies of time and space and the alternate realities of universe. Like driving a car, you need to understand how to steer, where the gas peddle is, where the brakes are and how to put the car into reverse.  In the meditation state, you also need to know here these drivers are.

I found by teaching students the ways of drawing and pressing dynamic energy first, they got a lot more done in the meditation state.  Those that don’t learn this lesson first, often get frustrated with just floating around in space for their allotted time while going nowhere.  Also I find that people who learn to draw and press energy first, get first hand experience that they are working in REAL realities and not just mocked up imaginary realities where they have no control. 

The universe around us is teeming with dynamic energy.  Billions upon billions of atoms are within you and all around you and each one of those atoms pack a powerhouse of energy.  You have the power to tap into that abundant source of Dynamic energy at any time and here is how you do it - instantly.

While you are sitting there reading this, put your hands on either side of your keyboard with your palms up.  Make sure your hands are not touching anything else.  Now take a few deep breaths and imagine two columns of energy channeling energy into the palms of your hands.  Now close your eyes and say to yourself “draw energy.”

Most people get an instant sensation of cool energy flowing into their hands, after a few seconds, some people get a tingling feeling in their hands and the fingers may begin to twitch.  These very real physical sensations are telling you that you are drawing dynamic energy directly from the universe into your body.   From there you can direct that energy where ever you like, including healing parts of your body.   What is amazing about this exercise is that most people are amazed they can command the universe to give energy so easily and so simply.  So you can draw this energy at any time and recharge your body at any time – 30 seconds to minute is enough to recharge your battery.  And you can do that at any time in any place.  This is the gas for your meditation-mobile.  How great is that?

Pressing energy is almost the same thing only in reverse.  What you are doing here is “grounding” or pressing energy from inside your body outward.  Pressing energy is often used in healing, calming, channeling and moving within other realities.  So let’s do this together.

Place your hands palms down on either side of your keyboard.  If you have a metal desk, put a few papers under your hands – it not a good idea to press into metal.  The reason for this is that some people carry so much energy in the form of electric current that pressing into metal can cause a shock. Think about putting on a wool sweater and touching a metal door knob – same thing.   However, any other nonmetal, nonliving object is ok.

Now take a few deep breaths, and think about pressing a stream of energy from your hands into your desk.  Then close your eyes and say to yourself, “Press energy.”  After a few seconds most people notice either a cool energy under their palms or depending on how much energy you are moving, your palms can get fairly hot.  Either way the physical sensation is proof you are moving dynamic energy.  Pressing energy is great for many things and anyone can do it instantly.  This is the steering and braking system for your meditation-mobile. 

Pressing energy into ground always grounds the flow of energy creating - stop. Pressing energy left, right, up or down from one object to another, or in any space creates direction.  Now you know all the controls for your meditation-mobile and it’s time to put your brain in the driver’s seat and practice.

The Beginner’s 10 Second Counting Meditation

If you have never meditated in your life, this is the perfect place to being the learning how to get into state.  When I teach workshops for healing this is first one I teach because it’s so simple.

The best place to being learning to quiet your mind is in bed right before you go to sleep.  I recommend this because most people have been pre-programmed that a quite mind means sleep.  So it’s best to begin working on this skill in a place where no harm will come if you do fall asleep.  You never want to try this while driving or working or you could end up in the bushes or worse, so to begin, start when you go to bed.

  1. Get into a comfortable position in bed.  If you sleep with a spouse, make sure you are not touching them in any way.
  2. Take three deep breaths and relax your whole body, give special attention to your shoulders and face, let go of all the tension.
  3. Close your eyes and count from 1 to 10 slowly, concentrating only on the numbers.
  4. If you think of another thought, the bill you haven’t paid, the laundry, something at work or any other thing, STOP counting.  Begin at 1 again and start counting again.
  5. Once you can count from 1 to 10 without thinking of another thing, slowly increase your numbers 100.

For most people, once they get to around the 37 second mark they may begin to see colors, shapes or shadow images.  For other people this stage takes a little longer, but once you get to the colors and images state and you are NOT sleepy you are ready to move on to another more advanced method of meditation. 

The Gain: For a person that can still their mind for as little as 37 seconds, I can teach them how to assist in healing with their hands.  This means you can draw on the dynamic energy of the universe within yourself and channel that energy into other living things to assist healing plants, animals and people.  For more information on how to do healing step by step see: Touch Healing at: http://www.psychicschoolhouse.com/catalog_alternative_healing_track.htm

Standard Meditation

Today everywhere you look, you find every psychic, guru and self-help writer is issuing their own meditation tapes, CD’s and video’s.   Some show you a how-to method and others record CD’s we call guided meditations and some are subliminal mediations. Some of these include music or 100 fussy little details you have to remember.   I’ve even heard some that take an hour asking you to relax your big toe, relax your next toe and on and on.  Some will ask you to get into unnatural positions on the floor with your legs folded just so, your thumb and one finger touching, do unnatural things with your breathing, or with your tongue in the roof of your mouth and then they tell you to relax!  And I say, huh?  How?

I’m not saying these methods will not bring you into state (if you are twenty and flexible) but for many people this is just not doable.  I can’t imagine asking a sixty year old grandmother to get down on the floor with arthritis in her knees and hips and ask her to fold her legs into a pretzel. Not doable!  So the important part is not the “preparation” to get into state, but only that you DO get into state.

Today, in my observation, we need to hop to the chase as quickly as possible and that means cutting out all the fancy and fussy so we can get into state quickly and get more work done in the few minutes of our time we can spare.   So here are the basic steps without all the fancy and fussy.  To start, keep your cessions to about 15 minutes.

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit.  It can be the floor, on your bed or in a recliner. Turn off the TV, the phone, the cell phone, the radio, the stereo, the washing machine, the dishwasher and anything else that makes sounds or noises.  If you have persistent pets put them another room or give them something interesting to do.
  2. Place your legs in a comfortable position.  Place your hands and arms either in your lap separated or on the arms of a chair.  If you place your hands in your lap - be sure you have a layer of clothing or something between your hands and your legs so skin is not touching skin. 
  3. Take a few deep breaths, close your eyes and relax your whole body.  If you carry tension in your back, shoulders, neck or face spend a little time relaxing these spots.  If you are low on energy use the exercise above to draw more energy.  If you are extra tense ground some of your energy here.
  4. Let your mind go blank.  If you need to, you can either count or you can concentrate on your NATURAL breathing to get your mind still.
  5. After a little while you may see colors or patterns or images sliding by your eyes.  Think about pressing forward into this stream of colors, images or patterns, like you are looking forward as boat carries you down a river. Try not to form opinions or comments on these images and let them slide by. 
  6. If you see, hear or sense anything you want to explore you can alter your direction by pressing energy to follow it or listen or you may direct your attention to other things or places, or times.
  7. Once you are finished (you may want to set an alarm for 15 minutes at first) then tell yourself you will come out relaxed and refreshed.  Take a few cleansing breaths open your eyes and stretch a little.
  8. You should feel refreshed and renewed after a meditation cession.

 

The Gain: If you can spend as little as 15 minutes a day for 30 days, you will notice that you can get lots of data on problem solving, healing directly from your higher self.  Here, you are creating a strong link between the conscious and the subconscious.  Also your memory of dreams and such will increase. Your personal energy will grow day by day.

Places to Go, Build and Do

After you get the hang of clearing your mind and really LISTENING and seeing things from this higher perspective, you can move on to directed mediation.  In directed meditation you can work on specific questions or problems on your own by building a mental reality workshop.  In this work shop you can channel a new reality for your life, program something you want, find solutions to pressing problems, build shields, meet Crossed Over relatives or loved ones, meet nonphysical guides, teachers or your angels.  You can also do past life searches and make light body trips to the Other Side for data, or you can visit anyone you like with light body trips to see people all over the world.

In the meditation state right after you are relaxed launch yourself forward and begin building a special mental image workshop of your own.  Here is what you can include in your workshop.

  1. Imagine a path in an outdoor environment that pleases you. This path can lead to a beach, the mountains, a forest, a desert anywhere you like.
  2. Create a pleasing house at the end of your path.  It can be a mansion, a hut, a castle, or whatever you like.
  3. Build a special protected door that leads inside the house.  Place a worry box outside the door.  When you enter your workshop, place all your worries there before you enter your workshop.
  4. Inside the door, build work benches, chairs, include a set of stairs going up and doors leading to other parts of your workshop.
  5. Behind one door create a living room with furniture - set this up as a place to meet with guides, teachers, and Crossed Over loved ones.
  6. Behind another door create a long hall with many doors.  This will be the place you come to make small trips to understand your past lives.  There will be a past life behind each door.
  7. At the top of your staircase create another room to meet and talk with your angels and higher self.
  8. Create some tools to use in your workshop.  One great tool is a stretchable magic mirror.  Use this to see other places, or you can step into the mirror and visit other places or people in present time.
  9. Once you have created your workshop shield it and protect it.  Then go out the door and lock it, then follow the path back to physical reality.

 

Your Gain: In creating this mental workshop, you can come to this place in the meditative state any time you like.  You can take problems here to work on them or get advice or directions.  You can check up on other people here using your magic mirror, you can make trips into your past lives and you can recruit help from angels and higher self to alter realities.

Each time you enter your mental workshop and work there you will get better and better at connecting to the higher psychic levels of your reality.  Things in your workshop will become more and more clear.  You will also note things sometimes change in your workshop, you may note objects there you don’t remember putting there or what they are for.  That’s OK, keep in mind your thinking goes on 24 hours a day and your higher self or other approved light entities or even you may add things to your workshop.  This is fine. 

Active Meditations

There are any number of active meditations that can also teach you to move dynamic energy between higher and lower self.  By active, I mean that these mediations use exercise in the physical body to line up higher level energies in the aura body.  These are called Yoga, Karate, Tai Chi and there are many of these.  Body and mind alignments all are wonderful for moving dynamic energy. 

If you like to be physically active, then choose one of these and take lessons from a local provider in your area. Once you get the exercises down, feel free to add in any or all of the techniques above.

Flow Dreaming

Flow Dreaming was developed a few years ago by psychic Summer McStravick who struggled for years to quite her super active mind in meditation and just could not manage it.  So she developed her own technique she calls Flow Dreaming.

Unlike other techniques, Flow Dreaming works best when the mind is wide awake and uses the first layer of consciousness to launch into what she calls the flow.  This technique can be done almost anywhere and does not require total privacy.  This can also be done a few minutes at a time and is an excellent way to reprogram your wants, dreams and wishes or solve problems.  Here are the basics.

  1. Relax your body with a few deep breaths.
  2. Close your eyes.
  3. Using your energy launch yourself forward into darkness behind your eyes.
  4. Imagine joining a stream of powerful dynamic energy as you fly through space at a high rate of speed.
  5. Imagine yourself moving through any alternate reality you wish.  For example if you would like to program more money imagine you are moving through a tunnel where endless money bills or checks flowing into your hands.
  6. Use affirmations to redirect and lock in your wanted reality.
  7. When you are finished just step out of the flow and return your present reality. 

 

The interesting thing about using this technique is that the flow seems to alter in its characteristics almost every time you launch into it.  It’s like your mind automatically joins the stream of energy, at a point and place where you need to work on a specific situation.  It’s great for reality altering on the fly and can be done in just a few minutes.  It’s fast and fun and gets great results.  You can order Summer’s books and guided meditation CD called Flow Dreaming in our PSH book store.  http://astore.amazon.com/integritytechcit/105-1682759-3734011?node=0&page=4

Meditation, no matter what method you choose to fit your life style, is a way to create a strong and open connection between you, higher self and the dynamic energy river that we are all connected to directly.  Once we establish a pathway between us and that river of infinite knowledge and understanding, and we learn to really listen and trust that higher data, things in your life begin to change, smooth out and become joyous.  We never came here for struggle and strive, and very often we get just that because we don’t listen to, or feel that inner voice telling us the best way to go or solve things. 

Mediation is a tool that will help you learn to listen and trust your own decisions, and program the realities you want.  Take this tool and use it every day.  The more use it the greater your own psychic powers become and THAT is why we make time to meditate every day.

The Festival of Mabon

Contained within the month of September is the arrival of the Fall Equinox, also called Mabon (pronounced MAY-buhn). At this time of year the 24 hours of a day are split equally into 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. We have been losing minutes of light and gaining minutes of darkness since the Summer Solstice in June. What time does your sun rise and set now? Compare those times to the sunrise and sunset during the summer months. See how many minutes of light have been lost?If you have been observing your sunrises or sunsets you have seen the sun move along the horizon. At the Summer Solstice, the sun rose and set to the north side of due east and due west. Since that time, the sun has moved steadily southward until now, at the equinox, it finally rises due east and sets due west. If you would like to know the exact east and west directions from your home, try to observe a sunrise or sunset around Mabon and mark it now. Then watch in successive weeks as the sunrises and sunsets move away from your equinox marks, heading south for the winter. Remember, it is the sun’s movement on the horizon that is causing the shift in minutes of light to minutes of dark.Several ancient sites in Ireland are dedicated to observing the equinoxes. One such site exists in County Meath at the Loughcrew Passage Cairns. These sites contain decorated underground passages that are illuminated by the rising sun only at the time of the spring and autumn equinoxes. A shaft of light from the sun enters down the passage and moves diagonally across the interior stones, illuminating a succession of images.

The name Mabon comes from Celtic Welsh mythology. Mabon was the Child of Light. He was the son of Modron, the Great Earth Mother. Mabon was stolen from his mother only three days after his birth, at the beginning of time. As Modron grieves for her missing son, changes come to the earth. Vegetation goes dormant, the earth grows cold and the sunlight begins to fade. Only when her son is restored to her does light and life start to return to creation, at the Winter Solstice or Yule.This story is mirrored in many cultures around the world. It seems to have been a popular way for ancient peoples to explain the changes in the natural world that they experienced during the season of Autumn.Mabon is the Second Harvest festival on the Wheel of the Year. It is also one of the quarterly holidays, a solar festival, which makes it a Lesser Sabbat. The harvest is hectic at this point, the farmers and herdsmen being well aware of the loss of daylight hours. Wildlife and vegetation both sense the approach of winter. Even though the temperatures may not yet be cold, all plant life has detected the loss of the sun’s energy. New colors predominate in the foliage, as the summer shades of green begin to fade.Appropriate ideas for this festival would include themes of reflection, meditation, simplifying, cleansing, or giving thanks. Many modern Autumn celebrations, such as the American holiday of Thanksgiving, have much in common with ancient equinox festivals.In your home, you can create a small personal altar to commemorate this season and this festival. Assemble candles that feature fall foliage colors. Benzoin, myrrh, and sage are appropriate incenses to use. Decorate your sacred space with whatever local foliage, fruits, and vegetables are common to your area in this season. Some popular items are nuts, apples, pine cones, and acorns. Some evening on, or around, the Fall Equinox, light your candles and your incense. Stand before your altar, engage your abdominal breathing and calm your thoughts. Think about the energy of this season; all nature is held in the balance of light and darkness. Feel the scale beginning to tip towards darkness and dormancy, as the earth gratefully takes a long recuperative sleep. Give thanks to the earth for all it has provided to you this year. Think about the personal changes that you have experienced this past year. Focus on the positive things that happened to you and give thanks for them.

What is Black Magic?

Black magic is simply the use of dynamic energy in a negative way.  The connotation of “black” describes the dark intent of the user. Black magic, then, is the use of dynamic energy to create harm to others either directly or by default. Most people agree it is not good thing to dabble in.  They are correct.  The greatest problem is using black magic is the in order to line up harm for someone else; the user must draw negative energy toward themselves in order to use it. 

The universal Law of Attraction says that like things draw each other vibrationally.  So if someone is lining up trouble for someone else, they are also lining up trouble for themselves and those they associate with.  We see this in Hollywood films all the time.  The bad wizard, cases spells to harm the good guy.  While he may get a way with it for while (for the sake of the plot) the instant he steps outside his circle of protection, we know that what ever nasty thing he built is going to come back and get HIM.  

This is the natural law of attraction at work.  Light workers avoid not only the use of Black Magic but also avoid the people who use it.  For most light workers, people who use black magic for gain or revenge give off a psychic “odor” that comes across much like road kill in summer.  Late one night at a convention I was approached by man in his twenty’s who only approached me when I was alone.  He was dressed in ragged black leather, his hair was greasy, his eyes were hollow looking from lack of sleep, he was unshaved and he smelled as if he had not known the kiss of soap in a month.  When he was within 20 feet of me I felt my own psychic shields snap up and harden against him.    He causally came to a stop before me and knowing who I was, he proceed to boost that he and some friends had summoned a demon about a month ago.  He seemed to be very proud of this.  He put it out there, in way that this act made him “powerful” and he asked what I thought of that.  I shrugged unimpressed.  This seemed to frustrate him, then he admitted that he had lost track of the entity he had summoned. Looking over this shoulder I could see a dark energy hovering behind him.  I told him he had NOT lost track of the entity, that is was still with him and likely would be until he did something to put it back.  Then something shifted in his eyes and he admitted that he had not slept very well since the summoning.  I told him if he wanted to learn how to get free of what he had summoned; he needed to come see me later.  After that I left him and walked away.  Of course, he never did come back to me.

While the use of black magic is fairly rare in this country, sometimes young adults dabble in old magic books not knowing what they are doing.  When they get something to work they don’t know enough about the ways of energy to get themselves out of a sticky situation.  So the best policy is avoid any kind of track that leads to harm to others in any way, including devices, dark magic books and tracks of thinking that can pull harmful or negative vibrations to you and your family personally.  If you are ever in doubt, the best policy is to walk away.
